Chess Class

FM (FIDE Master) Slava Mikhailuk and Michael Shapiro offer private and group chess lessons, in person and online.

Our students successfully compete in local, national, and international events.

During the class, we analyze students games, work on different stages of the game like opening, middle game, and endgame.

We track students progress with the learning chess steps series workbooks.

Group Classes Schedule

Michael's Group Classes

• Sunday, 10:30 - 11:30 (reccomended for players with rating 500 - 1000 and older kids)
• Thursday, 5:30 - 6:15 (reccomended for players with rating <= 500 and for younger kids)

Slava's Group Classes

• Saturday, 4:45 - 5:45 (reccomended for players rated 900 - 1300)
• Saturday, 6:00 - 7:30 (reccomended for players rated 1300 - 1600)
• Sunday, 4:30 - 5:30 (reccomended for younger kids and beginners rated < 900)
